Who is Meka?
Born Thibaut Désiront, Meka is a hyperactive illustrator based in Montreal.
***
Meka grew up in the east of France, where he immersed himself in the skate and punk cultures. Skateboarding inspired his first logo designs while the punk scene influenced his creation of fanzines, which transcended within his thick black and white style.
In 2008, he moved to Montreal and created his first brand of clothing, ZOMBIEcorp. After a fruitful collaboration with the shop BRAKELESS, he partners up with the owner and begins their own brand IDLEHAND.
